Students who graduated high school in 2026 are required to select a meal plan. If you do not select a meal plan, you will automatically be assigned one.

Students who graduated high school in 2025 or earlier may choose from any available meal plan option. All students living on campus must have a meal plan, except 2024 or earlier high school graduates living in Meadows Apartments.

Meal plans can be selected through the housing application in the MyState dashboard. Students may change their meal plan during the designated meal plan change period each semester.

Meal Plan Options

Meal plans include meal swipes for Larson Commons and Flex Dollars that can be used at all dining locations across campus.

Flex Dollars work like a declining balance account attached to your student ID. Flex dollars are tax exempt, which means you save 4.5% on every purchase using flex!

They can be used at all Jacks Dining locations across campus, including Larson Commons, C-Stores, and retail dining.

Block meal swipes do not roll over, they expire at the end of each semester.

Flex Dollars carry over from Fall to Spring semester and expire at the end of the Spring semester.

You can check your meal swipe and Flex Dollar balances through your campus card account or by asking a cashier at any dining location.

MyJacks Card Account Access

Additional Flex Dollars can be added at any time through Card Services. Additional meal plan options may also be available for purchase.
